IDP Earns Third Place in Three Insurer's Choice Vendor Categories
WYNCOTE, Pa. - IDP::Insurance Data Processing, Inc has been ranked third among property and casualty technology providers in three separate categories by Insurer's Choice, the insurance industry's most comprehensive ranking of technology vendors.
In the Insurer's Choice property and casualty vendor rankings, insurance company executives voted for more than 200 companies. IDP placed third as a technology provider that:
- Helps insurers support their distribution channels.
- Helps develop or enhance an insurer's products.
- Helps insurers provide quality customer care.
IDP shared its third- place rankings with IBM in all three categories and with Skywire Solutions in the Channel category and DP Solutions in the Products category.
In the 2008 Insurer's Choice survey, executives responded that generating organic growth was their top 2008 strategic objective. Financial Insights' Senior Analyst Barry Rabkin explains, "Growth cannot be achieved without effective new product development, providing quality customer care and, of course, supporting our industry's agents and brokers. IDP is to be congratulated for developing mind-share among property-casualty insurers in all three of these categories."
IDP delivers affordable, easy-to-use software and services that help streamline key processes such as policy, billing, claims, underwriting and reinsurance. According to IDP's Dominick A. Corigliano, vice president of marketing, the third place showings in three categories reflect the company's ability to deliver technology and related services that exceed customer expectations.
"Customer satisfaction is an ongoing IDP objective," Corigliano states. "Clients seeking reliable product backed by close attention to their individual needs turn to us with confidence. We are pleased that our focus on customer satisfaction was given added credibility by the Insurer's Choice rankings."
